Coaches

Coaches give you focused, observe-and-ask help on a piece of writing. They are listed on the project’s Coaches surface, and which ones appear depends on the content type — character and world-building coaches show up for fiction and TTRPG work, for instance.

What the coaches do

• Coach — general coaching on any passage you select — observations and questions to push your thinking.
• Consistency coach — checks the text against the rules your project has established and flags where they drift.
• Character voice coach — checks whether a character’s dialogue and actions stay true to how you have written them.
• Grammar and spelling — fast, deterministic checks — no credits, no model calls.

Coach on selection

You do not have to leave the editor to get help. Select a passage and open coaching on it — the coach receives your selection, the surrounding context, and the brief, then works through it with you a turn at a time. Conversations tied to a review gap are saved and resume when you come back.
